Our Story
Jacob Henrie-Naffaa and Damián Orellana became friends in first grade and have been making movies ever since. They started filming Spider-Man parodies at the park and sketches and skits in their backyards, which eventually led to them producing short films for their high school film class.
Music Man Movie Studios was unofficially founded in 2019 as they produced three films over the course of the year for their assignments. After high school, both found success in related industries, Damián in music producing and Jacob in acting, and always planned to return to Music Man someday. In 2025, Music Man Movie Studios produced their first short film, My Girlfriend Does That Too! which is scheduled to release in Summer 2026.

Jacob is a Bay Area native whose roots are in theater and dreams are in film. Jacob has been writing shorts since his high school film classes, and is deeply excited about producing some of his most ridiculous ideas. Jacob wrote the films Maybe I'm Early and My Girlfriend Does That Too! as well as a hefty stack of drafts he plans to shoot in the next five years. Jacob has also been hard at work on the Bay Area acting scene, performing all over the Bay with companies like SFBATCO, Berkeley Rep, Golden Thread and many more. Recent film credits include My Girlfriend Does That Too! (Music Man Movie Studio), My Darling, Look At Me! (Repugnant Riddles Productions) and Circle of Sinners (6601 Productions), as well as commercials for Samsung and Jollibee.
Damián Orellana
Music & Film Producer
Damián is a Bay Area native music and film producer who has recently been working with Different Fur Studios. His work focuses on creating dynamic soundscapes that complement the visual storytelling of independent films. He is dedicated to bringing a professional and innovative edge to every musical score and production we undertake.
